Sewing Update

So, the first sewing project was a total flop. I blame the pattern. Well, I didn't at first, but the "New Look" pattern only cost $3.99 and was very difficult even though it claimed to be "easy". Thankfully, I bought enough fabric and a McCalls pattern which inspired me to try again. This dress turned out half-way decent, which was due to a very easy pattern. In fact, I'm rather proud of myself!I dressed Lilly like this today and took her out. I received three comments on how cute her dress was. I have to say that I agree. She looked adorable and I love that I made this dress for her. I made another one that's frilly and pink, but haven't tried it on her yet - so there are no pictures. I'm also working on yet another out of what was suposed to be my my brown and orange apron fabric. I'm on a roll.

That fabric looks like some pink fabric I used to make my friend some burb clothes. I love it. Retro, but modern!
