Fitness Experiment

I'm not in bad shape. Okay, I don't physically look like I'm in bad shape, but I am. I'm pathetically skinny, but if you put me to the test, I probably can't do more than 5 push-ups and 5 sit-ups. I'm a weakling.
But all that is going to change. I'm a stay-at-home mom of a 9 month old. So, now is my chance to eat healthy and change my body. I have no excuse not to. It's not like I'm at work all day, forced to eat microwave lunches then come home to spend a few precious hours with my family. Nope, my baby is with me all day and Hubby works from home. Plus, I have a whole refrigerator full of fresh produce, a fabulous omega juicer, and all the kitchen appliances I could need. And, I'll shortly have a new house with a fabulous kitchen overlooking a gorgeous pool.
I'm not domestic. I can make a mean pot of macaroni and cheese with jello for dessert (and a variety of baby food). Otherwise I can't cook. But with this kitchen, things are going to change. I'm going to learn to cook nutritious fabulous meals and when Lilly is older she'll sit at the island doing homework and telling me about her day while I make dinner.Back to the topic at hand... My fitness experiment. I'm going to start going to the gym four days a week. For the first few weeks, I'm just going to go and do some very gentle cardio workouts. I'm not going to push myself. I'm just going to get into the swing of things. Meanwhile, I'll spend the next few weeks thinking about my goals and creating a fitness plan. I'm also going to post my before pictures as well as some inspirational pictures from around the net.
Stay tuned...
