13 Weeks

Things are much better now. I still need a daily dose of Zofran, but it's a world of difference from a few weeks ago. My exhaustion is fading along with the depression. I just wish my brain didn't feel like it was turning into Jell-O.
I'm already wearing maternity pants, but my tops still fit. Now that I'm obviously pregnant, my little 8 year old nethew wanted to know how I got pregnant (at the dinner table with 15 guests). His parents found this hilarious and thought it was appropriate to ask during dinner. Hubby's family is quite liberal and open so anything can be a dinner conversation. I come from a very conservative family and was instantly mortified at the thought that someone would actually tell him how I got pregnant! So, I said that it was not a dinner conversation but one that he could have with his parents later. Everyone thought it was hillarious - except me.

Hehe - our 8 year old niece asked us the other day what menstruation was - T just looked at me and smirked. I didn't feel comfortable explaining it to her without her mum's permission so I kinda bluffed my way through it ;o) Sometimes they just come out with the most awkward questions, don't they!
I'm glad you're feeling better now - I've been thinking of you and wondering how you were doing. Take good care of yourself!
