How Does This Happen?

Hubby took a fall this morning and skinned the bridge of his nose. We can't figure out you can carpet burn the most recessed spot on your face.
Apparently, he got out of bed to quickly, passed out, and hit the floor face-first. He doesn't remember anything except that he heard his neck crack and thought he broke it. Scary!
Anyway, he seems to be okay now. The scrape looks worse than than the picture reveals. We're trying to think of a creative story to explain it to his buddies. Hopefully he won't have a black eye to go with it.

Holy cow...how does that happen?? I also hope he doesn't get a black eye, or people are going to think that his hormonal wife punched his lights out.
I actuallly fainted once when I got our of bed too fast. I guess that does happen. -

Poor guy. Now his nose is swollen and he's just miserable.
I told him that he could tell people that I hurt him when he wouldn't go to the store for pickles and ice cream at 3am.
