Jessica Joslin's Antique Bone Sculptures

There is something marvelous about stumbling across something unexpected. Jessica Joslin's animal sculptures are constructed from bones, antique scraps, and other findings such as glove leather or glass eyes. Her sculptures are captivating and upon close inspection the details are incredible.Most of her scultputres have hidden aspects, such as snapping jaws or flicking tails. It's especially fascinating when you consider that some of her sculptures are only about a foot tall.

Oh, I just got bored of it. I can't post pictures of Lilly and I'm feeling MUCH better these days. So, I decided I'd get into art. One night, while looking for inspiration, I decided I'd just change the blog a bit and make it more about art and less about baby stuff. Of course, I haven't had time to do anything since then. We'll see how it goes. I'm sure it'll change as time goes on.
