Body for Life
Wednesday, January 03, 2007
Every time January 1st rolls around, I get the fitness bug. It usually doesn't pan out because it's so much easier to think about getting in shape than it is to actually do it. But, this time is going to be different. In fact, I didn't even make it part of my new years resolution (by now I realize that they are destined to fail).I'm going to do the 12-week Body for Life challenge - starting next Monday. That should give me enough time to re-read the book and plan my workouts and meals. I've tried this before, but never stuck with it. Maybe it was because it takes quite a bit of planning, which I didn't do. Or maybe its my extreme lack of will-power combined with a refrigerator full of junk food.
This time I signed up for a online program to help me organize, plan, and track my progress. Feel free to check out my progress.
Hubby thinks that Body for Life is bogus and the before and after pictures are a result of plastic surgery not actual physical transformations done with 12 weeks of hard work. I don't agree. I had two friends who did Body for Life several years ago and they both had amazing results. So, I'll be proving hubby wrong here. Just wait...

Good luck! You'll look fabulous, although I think you look great now. I would never post a picture of me wearing what you're wearing (so nicely) on the web. Props to you!
