Genetics and all...
Sunday, March 16, 2008
We finally saw the Geneticist. I'm the only adult case he's ever seen of BO(R) Syndrome. All in all, I have a 50% chance of passing it on to any children we have, but the chances that it will be severe are fairly low. So, we're not too worried about the genetic aspect anymore.
Of course, we're in the mist of the terrible two's and I have no desire to do this again. One child is more than enough for me right now. We'll see if I change my mind down the road.

I'm glad you went and saw a genetisist (spelling?)...and that the odds aren't too horrible.
But dude, the Terrible Two's ARE horrible. I feel your pain on not wanting to add another one to that!! - At 3:25 PM, AnnaBana said...

That is the same feeling I have about having a second right now...except I'm 20 weeks pregnant right now, and have NO WAY OUT. help!
Now I need to go look up BO(R) Syndrome...
Also, I just read the hearing aid post and cried. That is SO adorable.
