Halloween Painted Belly

I haven't dressed up for Halloween in god-only-knows how long. But this year is different. If nothing else, I had to have my belly painted so that baby would have a picture of it in her baby book.
Hubby and I carved a pumpkin this afternoon. Well, I drew the design and he did the carving with his specialized hobby saw - only my design was defective so he had to carve it from scratch. Can you believe he's never carved a pumpkin before?
As you can see, drawing on pumpkins isn't my best skill, but after dark, you shouldn't be able to see all my lines. Notice how the pumpkins match!
Hubby wouldn't help me off the ground! Instead, he took the opportunity to snap as many pictures of my struggle as he could!
But, I finally succeeded!

I am not sure what I like better, your painted belly (so cute) or the cat dressed up (so mad). I laughed out loud when I saw that picture.
And I am so jealous at your gorgeous Texas weather. Because up here in Seattle, we didn't even see the sun yesterday. And today....SO MUCH RAIN. Why do I live here?

Great blog by the way! I discovered it thru another pregnancy blog and it looks like you are only a couple of weeks behind me. Another coincidence, we are planning on naming our child Lilian (Lilly for short) if we have a girl. I think it's a classicly beautiful name that we just don't hear anymore. It's also my grandmother's name.
Anyways, happy pregnancy and all that...Reesh
