Sozo WeeBlock

I've decided to start reviewing random and unusual baby products, starting with the WeeBlock.
The WeeBlock, a machine-washable "Parent Protector", is designed to prevent baby boys from quirting whoever is changing his diaper. Underneath the cotton jersey cover, lies an absorbant sponge. Cost: $10 at Pacifier
ReDinkyDink Review:

At first, the Weeblock sound like a great way to protect yourself from the inivetable baby boy squirts, but do you really want to use something that's absorbant? Granted it's machine washable, but unless you wash it after each use, it would get pretty smelly and gross! Why not just use little wash-cloths or find something that is not absorbant so you can mop up spills with a diaper wipe and throw it in the diaper disposal/storage system?

I had heard of this before and when I found out we were having a boy I wondered if we should get it. We probably won't...for the reasons you said, and also...would you have to have like 3...one for the changing table, diaper bag, pack n play, etc. etc. etc.? Maybe I'll get really good and quick at changing and he won't have a chance.
