25 Week Ultrasound

We had our 25 week ultrasound with the perinatologist this morning. Lilly is now 1 pound and 12 ounces (47 percentile)! She kicked and squirmed the whole time but the doctor managed to get these photos:


Okay, so those were nearly identical, but this one is a forward shot of her face. You can see her eye sockets, nose and mouth.

The doctor said one kidney was slightly smaller and the other was slightly larger, but neither were large enough to warrant a visit to the pediatric urologist at this point. So, we'll go back in a month for another level 2 sonogram at 29 weeks to check her progress.

That is good, right? I think the ultrasound look so great. Isn't it funny how before we were pregnant those pictures didn't mean anything to us and now we can totally see how it's a baby in there?
