Lilly and George

Lilly got her first pet yesterday - a goldfish named George. She's loves him. In fact, she's so excited about George that he resides on the kitchen table so she can watch him while she eats.Yesterday week took George down to JC Penny for a photo shoot. As you can imagine, George ended up in Lilly's hand and we have some fablous pictures showing how he got there. I'll post some when we get them back.
The problem is that George lives in a glass bowl without a filter, which means his water is quite cloudy. So, I'm thinking that we might have to get george a proper home. The only problem is if I'm going to buy a fish tank, I'd rather put cool fish in it. But, maybe I can wait until George expires to populate the tank with cool fish.
Am I a good mother or what? I'm counting down my child's goldfish's days so I can have pretty fish...

Isn't Lilly a lucky little girl!! I begged and begged for pets and we finally got a Budgie when I was 12 LOL!!
