What Do You Do About A Neighbor's Barking Dog?
Friday, June 01, 2007
Hubby and I have been discussing what to do about our neighbor's barking dog. This dog barks for a good part of the day/night and drives me nuts. We joked about kidnapping it and having a de-barking surgery performed or sending them an autonomous dog shock collar. Then we thought that we could just write a nice/funny letter with all sorts of suggestions about how to help their dog stop barking.
It reminds me of the time when I had a HORRIBLE co-worker who was making my life miserable at work. So, what did I do? I spent about 30 minutes one night, signing her up for any and all internet porn I could find. Hahahah!! It still makes me laugh to think about it!
Anyway, here is the letter I'm sending to the neighbor regarding his/her barking dog:

Dear Neighbor,
The great thing about living in this democracy called the United States is the abundant availability of products and services on the capitol market to suite your very specific need. For example:
- Innotek makes a highly reviewed Automatic No Bark Collar (non-shocking) for about 49 dollars.
- PetSafe makes a Bark Control Collar (electric) for about 42 dollars.
- Premier Pet Products makes a Citronella Bark Dog Collar for about 45 dollars (non-shocking).
These products received very good reviews and are available at most pet stores and online. Please see the attached brochures and reviews for more details.
Training Services:
- Be Kind To Dogs (www.bekindtodogs.com) offers personalized in-home training to help with barking problems. They can be reached at 972-345-7955.
- Dogs Play and Training Center also offers in-home training and can be reached at 972-769-BARK.
- Advanced K-9 Concepts offers private training and can be reached at 972-965-1794.
All three of these companies’ websites specifically mention that they can help resolve barking problems. You veterinarian may be able to suggest other resources.
Thanks,
Your Neighbors

Okay wait...you signed your coworker up for porn? YOU ARE AWESOME.
I don't know what to do about the dog. I think it comes right down to talking to them about it. I mean, it has to stop!!
