Apparently Drinking Water Helps Baby Make Amniotic Fluid
Monday, October 10, 2005
It's great to have friends! After obsessing about baby's kidney's, I called a friend who runs an ultrasound school to get her opinion. She think it may be hydronephrosis, but isn't sure since we don't have sonogram pictures of the kidney's. I'm going to stop by her school tomorrow for a quick check. She recommends that we check the amniotic fluid levels once a week and said the only thing I can do to help baby is to drink lots of water so she can make plenty of amniotic fluid.
I feel better knowing that we get to check on baby tomorrow and that by drinking lots of water, I can help her out a bit. I couldn't stand the thought of waiting another week, until we saw the Perinatologist. Now I'll be able to ask the doctor some intelligent questions.
