Welcome to my life. As a newish stay-at-home mom, I'm trying to figure out what my life is about. I know I'm a wife and mother, but who am I? This blog is my forum to find out and my therapy...

First Baby Clothes

In order to celebrate today's good news, I decided to buy Baby a nice dress that I had stumbled upon the other day. I often so shopping for baby things, but so far, haven't let myself buy anything. I don't why that is. Maybe because I'm letting other people's concern over the baby's health damper my excitement. But no more! It's time to start getting ready for this little girl!

Although they were out of stock on the dress I wanted, I found this little corduroy jumper dress on sale. Of course I had to buy the under-shirt, booties, and ruffle tights to go with it. Isn't it adorable!

This dress wasn't on sale, but it was too cute to pass up. Every baby girl needs a candy-pink dress with matching hat.

I feel better just having started buying things for her. She's really real and I can't wait to hold her in February.

Hi!

Enjoying your blog - I found it via Amalah's blog. Why "adventurous" - are you over 40? I'm 44 and I think I just decided that yeah, it's okay to have a baby - after much begging by my husband, and I hope I didn't wait too long.

Erika - Actually, I just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago. After working for 12 years in corporate america, I'm ready for the parenting adventure! Today anyway. As February approaches, I'll probably start getting scared.

Good luck with yours and I hope it goes well! I know others who are around 40 and just starting their families. You'll have more sonograms, but if you look at it on the bright side, you'll be able to take a peak at your baby more often than most.
