Baby Blanket

Reading about Isabel's crocheting, reminded me that my mom had crocheted some baby dresses for me years ago. She's been begging for a grandchild for 10 years and probably thought it would help inspire me. Anyway, it takes her about a month to create each of these dresses and yes, those are glass beads on the arms and hem-line.
During the first trimester, I started a baby blanket. I needed something to remind me why I was suffering though all the morning sickness. I don't really know how to crochet, but my mom taught me this pattern and it doesn't look half bad. I've been trying to put one or two rows on each day, but it's taking absolutely forever!!
I'm going to bring baby home from the hospital in this blanket - if I finish it before February!

Those dresses are beautiful. I can't believe the amount of time and love your Mom puts into each of them. Good thing you are having a girl, so they don't go to waste!
And your blanket is absolutely perfect. I can't wait to see the pictures of your new baby girl coming home from the hospital in it. Just perfect.
