Sock Monsters

I'm getting a sewing bug...This happens every once in a while - not that I can sew. I watched the video on how to operate my machine and that's about it. It doesn't seem to be that hard though. I managed to make Lilly's nursery stuff last year and it turned out okay.
Now, I'm going to make her some sock monsters. They are going to as ugly as can be with all sorts of crazy textures and things hanging off it. She's going to love it. Maybe it'll be her first birthday present.

Of course mine will be really nutty. It's a good thing I have a baby which gives me an excuse to create such a weird thing. You'd never get away with this as an adult without children. Of course, maybe there's a strange group of people who are into this. When I was browsing flick, I found a whole bunch of pictures of people as some kind of meeting with their sock-puppets. I didn't bother to find out what their group was about. Not my thing...

I can't imagine a bunch of adults sitting around at a sock puppet club meeting!
